Victoria Verillo is a contemporary artist exploring the relationship between place, memory and the natural world.

Inspired by her travels through the UK, Italy and the landscapes she encounters along the way, Victoria collects the details that make a place memorable — a wildflower growing beside a path, the shape of a distant mountain, an old building, a particular colour in the sky or an unexpected texture.

Working with bold line, simplified forms and expressive colour, she transforms these observations, photographs and memories into paintings and layered compositions.
